Greeks of today are accomplished, fast-paced men and women. Sure, they still like to have fun, but the media’s portrayal of Greek life is often very different from the lives fraternity and sorority members are actually leading.

Greek apps and programs are a great way to keep life in your chapter smooth and organized so you can spend less time coordinating meetings and collecting dues, and more time having fun!

Web Greek

The WebGreek system is one of our favorite Greek life apps – think of it as a social network for your chapter. You can send emails and text messages to your chapter members, share documents, collect dues, schedule meetings, create online polls, and even sell tickets for chapter events. They recently debuted their iPhone app, and we’re excited for all the possibilities to come!

Bill Highway

Bill Highway doesn’t have a smartphone app quite yet, but this innovative program does make collecting dues a cinch for Greeks. Members can make payments through a variety of payment methods, with the ability to set payments as single, recurring, or over a payment plan. It includes built-in record keeping functionality, to make your chapter’s records as organized and clear as possible.

Groups

The “Groups” iPhone app lets you add all of your fraternity or sorority members to specific contact groups, such as class year or chapter officers. You can send mass emails to these different groups, keeping your chapter members always connected and on the same page. No mixed messages here!

Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock

There are two kinds of college students: those who don’t get enough sleep, and those who get too much. As a Greek, you need to be alert and on top of your game, and this app has you place your iPhone on your mattress while you sleep, and when it detects the lightest phase in your sleep cycle, wakes you up. Here’s to (finally) feeling well-rested!

SugarSync

You’re a Greek on the go, and lugging your laptop with you everywhere just isn’t an option. So, when you find yourself in a chapter meeting and need to access that fundraising spreadsheet, access it right from your computer via SugarSync.

The right apps and programs can take some of the “busy” out of our lives and inject a healthy dose of fun back into them. These are just a few of the many productivity apps to make Greek life – and any college student’s life – just that much easier. Hey, we could all use some breathing room in our day!
