Why We’re All Doomed and GTD Can’t Save Us

If you’re a GTD fan or aspiring productivity enthusiast, I hope that title felt like a jab in the ribs. It should. Here’s why: So long as you’re actually seeking imbalance to achieve your goals, GTD (or any set of productivity tools) will never work for you. Seriously. Not ever. You might enjoy days or weeks of respite from your mounting stress, only to experience some recurring strain to your system, manifesting as a problem in your health, family, social life, or some other “non-productive” though essential part of who you are.
