You might be a cubicle dweller and you might be the only occupant in that 5x5 cube. It's not good to be a lone wolf in a cubicle farm. The good news is you're not alone. Good news if that's how you see it through your personal lenses; bad if you're a whiner. Of course, the latter is not necessarily true. You're part of a team whether you like it or not (you better like it). Your success is important to the team's success. You don't like to be the weakest link. You have to make an effort to contribute to the whole body, your team. But it's not enough that you excel for the sake of personal excellence alone.

Productivity is very difficult to achieve in the absence of a workable system. You have to have a system that can dictate the workflow of your projects and the underlying tasks. You may not be practicing a mainstream productivity system right now but, whether you agree or not, you are in fact already following a certain kind of a "system" in the guise of your working patterns or arrangements.
